Health Hub’s aim is to reduce obesity and the amount of teenagers and young children that are overweight.
Many health programmes only aim themselves at adults however by then the damage may already be done.
We want to make a healthy lifestyle a normal occurrence as well as making as many people as we can aware of what a healthy lifestyle is.

About us

My name is Jack O’Rourke, competitive runner and co-founder of Health Hub.
I love running and athletics and for more than seven years I have been running competitively, with 800 metres my best distance.
I’m extremely proud of my County and Munster medals; being placed second in Ireland has been my biggest achievement, and I’m working towards that elusive first place!
I train hard and run up to five times each week and really enjoy it.

My name is Eoghan Ahern, I’m passionate about hurling and football and co-founder of Health Hub.
I have been playing hurling and football since I was five with Blarney GAA. My position is halfback in football and corner forward in hurling and I play with the U16s teams.
I also love soccer which I have played since I was eight, two years ago joining Leeds United AFC where I play on the left side of midfield in the U17 team.
I train four to five times a week with GAA and soccer combined, and it’s always some of the highlights in my week.
